Brittany Murphy's cause of death released (Yahoo! News)

Many were stunned way back December 20 of last year when actress Brittany Murphy died at an early age of 32 at her home in Hollywood. Many speculations were raised such as drug abuse, cardiac arrest and so on, as cause of her death. Today, it has been released that community acquired pneumonia, with some role from prescription drugs, is the cause of death of the "Clueless" and "8 Mile" actress.

She's one of the few actresses I admire in Hollywood. She's beautiful, sexy and has a good voice. She played the voice of Gloria in Happy Feet in which she made her own rendition of Boogie Wonderland originally sang by Earth Wind & Fire. I was also happy one time seeing her in Dance Dance Revolution. Her collaboration with Paul Oakenfold in the song "Faster Kill Pussycat" was featured in Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2 for PS2.

The news featured on Murphy's death indicates that she already had doctor's appointment scheduled before her death. And only if she attended those appointments, she could have lived until now. So sad =(

Here's the DDR Supernova 2 Banner for her song with Paul Oakenfold:
